1. About TheBenefactor.net

TheBenefactor.net is a utility-first SocialFi platform built around participation.

Our Pay It Forward ("PIF") model combines social networking, blockchain-enabled utility, participation-based incentives, creator and community functionality, referrals, advertising, and other platform features.

TheBenefactor.net may provide users with opportunities to receive or earn PIF through eligible platform participation.

PIF is intended to function as a utility token within the TheBenefactor.net ecosystem.

PIF does not represent stock, equity, ownership, voting rights, profit-sharing rights, or an ownership interest in TheBenefactor.net, Inc.

Nothing provided through the Services constitutes an offer of equity in TheBenefactor.net, Inc.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to create or maintain a TheBenefactor.net account.

Users who are 16 or 17 years old may use TheBenefactor.net only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By permitting a minor age 16 or 17 to use the Services, the parent or legal guardian acknowledges the minor's use of the Services and agrees to be responsible for that use to the extent required by applicable law.

  • Wallet functionality

  • Blockchain transactions

Users are responsible for the information they choose to communicate.

Do not send:

  • Passwords

  • Private keys

  • Seed or recovery phrases

through direct messages.

TheBenefactor.net will never legitimately request your external self-custody wallet's private key or seed/recovery phrase.

However, we may preserve, access, review, or disclose communications where reasonably necessary and technically available to investigate reported abuse, protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with valid legal process, or protect the rights, security, or safety of TheBenefactor.net or others.

TheBenefactor.net may restrict or remove communities, creator functionality, or related content where necessary to enforce these Terms.

12. PIF Utility Token

Pay It Forward ("PIF") is the native utility token used within the TheBenefactor.net ecosystem.

PIF may be used in connection with supported platform functionality, including rewards, referrals, creator activity, advertising, transactions, platform participation, and other utilities made available from time to time.

PIF is not equity in TheBenefactor.net, Inc.

Ownership or possession of PIF does not provide:

  • Stock ownership

  • Equity ownership

  • Corporate voting rights

  • Ownership of TheBenefactor.net

  • Rights to company profits

  • Rights to company assets

  • Rights to dividends

  • Governance rights unless expressly provided through a separate applicable program

The functionality and utility of PIF may evolve as the Services develop.

13. No Investment or Financial Advice

Information provided through TheBenefactor.net regarding PIF, blockchain technology, wallets, platform rewards, or related functionality is provided for informational and platform-use purposes.

Nothing provided through the Services constitutes:

  • Investment advice

  • Financial advice

  • Legal advice

  • Tax advice

  • Securities advice

  • A recommendation to purchase or sell any asset

You are responsible for evaluating your own circumstances and obtaining independent professional advice where appropriate.

TheBenefactor.net does not guarantee the monetary value, market price, liquidity, exchange availability, transferability, or future value of PIF or any digital asset.

Reward availability, eligibility, frequency, amount, and rules may change.

Participation does not guarantee a reward.

TheBenefactor.net may deny, withhold, cancel, or adjust pending or unclaimed rewards where reasonably necessary due to:

  • Fraud

  • Duplicate accounts

  • Bot activity

  • Manipulation

  • Technical errors

  • Program abuse

  • Violations of these Terms

  • Legal or regulatory requirements

Once an on-chain transaction has been validly completed, blockchain transactions generally cannot be reversed by TheBenefactor.net.

Each task may have its own:

  • Eligibility requirements

  • Completion requirements

  • Reward amount

  • Availability period

  • Verification requirements

  • Participation limits

  • Additional rules

TheBenefactor.net may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue tasks or reward programs.

Attempts to manipulate task completion or obtain rewards through fraudulent, automated, duplicate, or deceptive activity are prohibited.

17. Platform-Managed Wallets

TheBenefactor.net may provide platform-managed wallet functionality.

For platform-managed wallets, TheBenefactor.net's systems may securely process and store encrypted cryptographic key material necessary to operate the wallet functionality on behalf of the user.

Users acknowledge that platform-managed wallet functionality involves different custody and security characteristics from external self-custody wallets.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your TheBenefactor.net account and authentication credentials.

TheBenefactor.net may implement security measures, withdrawal controls, verification requirements, or temporary restrictions designed to protect platform-managed wallets and users.

18. Self-Custody Wallets

Where supported, users may connect or use an external self-custody wallet.

With a self-custody wallet:

Your wallet. Your keys. Your choice.

You control the private keys and recovery credentials associated with the wallet.

TheBenefactor.net does not request or store the private key or seed/recovery phrase for your external self-custody wallet.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Protecting your private keys

  • Protecting your recovery phrase

  • Maintaining wallet security

  • Confirming transaction details

  • Using the correct blockchain network

  • Maintaining access to your wallet

  • Protecting devices used to access your wallet

Loss or compromise of private keys or recovery credentials may result in permanent loss of access to digital assets.

TheBenefactor.net may be unable to recover assets associated with a self-custody wallet.

Before authorizing a transaction, users are responsible for reviewing:

  • Wallet address

21. Paid Services

TheBenefactor.net may provide paid functionality including advertising, subscriptions, creator features, promotions, premium services, and other paid products.

Paid Services may be governed by additional Paid Services Terms.

By purchasing a Paid Service, you agree to the pricing, payment terms, refund terms, and other conditions presented at the time of purchase and any applicable Paid Services Terms.

29. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their TheBenefactor.net account or use available account-deletion functionality.

Account deletion does not authorize TheBenefactor.net to take ownership of assets held in an external self-custody wallet.

Before deleting an account, users should review and address any available platform-managed balances, rewards, subscriptions, wallet functionality, or other account matters as appropriate.

Account deletion may affect access to platform-managed wallet functionality or information associated with the account.

Certain records may be retained as described in our Privacy Policy for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, accounting, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, or other lawful purposes.

Transactions permanently recorded on a public blockchain cannot be deleted by TheBenefactor.net.

30. Taxes

You are responsible for determining whether your use of the Services, receipt of rewards, token transactions, creator earnings, referral earnings, purchases, or other activity creates tax obligations.

You are responsible for reporting and paying taxes applicable to you unless applicable law requires TheBenefactor.net to collect, withhold, report, or remit taxes.

TheBenefactor.net does not provide tax advice.
