On-chain reputation is basically your blockchain history = your credibility.

Not followers.
Not bios.
Not “trust me bro”.

It can replace:
• fake clout
• empty badges
• closed-door trust

Your actions speak for you — publicly, verifiably.

But it shouldn’t replace:
• privacy
• second chances
• context
• being human

Code can track what happened.
It can’t judge intent.

Reputation shouldn’t trap people.
It should prove you showed up.

That’s the line Web3 needs to get right.

Its a way of showing contributions that has value if that makes sense compared to wasting time on stats that society places expectations on, like fake clout and empty badges.

This is way better because people can still see what you have done, but they can't punish you by taking away your crypto, but more of a means to document each others contributions which in my opinion is more sustainable than web2 platforms.
