One feature I don’t see talked about enough on TheBenefactor is the donations system.

Because it’s actually a really interesting part of the platform.

Most social platforms revolve around likes and comments. But donations introduce something different — they create a way to directly support...

content
ideas
communities that you genuinely value.

And that changes the dynamic.

Because instead of just scrolling and reacting, users have the option to actively contribute to posts or people they believe in. It adds a layer of appreciation and incentive that goes beyond simple engagement.

And what I find most interesting is how this fits into the broader Web3 mindset where value flows directly between users. If someone shares insights, research, or something meaningful, there’s a built-in way to recognize that effort.

As the community grows, I think this feature could become much more powerful. It encourages higher-quality content and gives creators a reason to keep contributing.

Definitely an underrated feature that more people should explore.
